Drake has always know that the only way to fulfill your objectives is by hardwork, he will not stop working and giving his best to accomplish his goals. Besides his intellect, this characteristic of him has giving him notoriety on the firm who embraced him when he finished Law School as a Valedictorian.
Since this is the way he sees his life, he has a strict method of work in which the strategies he creates should be always with a high rate of success and considering even the smalls detours or delays to the goal. Luck doesn't exist in his mind. If the strategy fails, Drake cannot accept it, and tries to look for culprits.

He switches of personality when the situation requires to do it. He can be receptive, calm and assuring to his clients and witnesses, if he sees that this is the way to approach. Or if the witness or collaborator turns quite difficult to work, Drake can threaten if necessary, speak coldly if people think that can manipulate him. 
Because feeling can get in the way of work, he tries to shut in his emotions, only putting façades, trying to contain the rage that boils from within.

Drake truly believes he is the best at his work, he has seen the result so diminishing his efforts or ruin his plans can be the worst decision in your life. And he will remember it, and he can punish you to give a lesson and to diminish his own anger.



History

The upbringing of Drake Loch was on a family immersed on business but leaning to be straight-laced, so they always given a type of education that would make him a decent man of success. As a kid he had a straight/calm face, to others it was too simple and looked like a wimp. Being simple in appearance but one of the most intelligent in class, didn't make him an often target of bullies, just when they didn't have with anyone to press and mock with.
Just at high school one bully decided that he could mess with his notes from class [one of the most important thing in his life], so he couldn't avert to become a total berserk to the bully and the ones who were on his gang. Since that day everybody knew that he had a force that should never be awoken.

The boy became a man when he was accepted to Law School, were everyone in his family excepted him to be. Drake's life was fully immersed to become the perfect lawyer but his calculations never predicted that woman and how he shaken his heart. She was mayoring on Social Work and met her on practices at a foundation. The woman was as determinated as he, but she possesed the grace and demeanor of a lady, with the kindness that make her approachable, contrary to him. With time at work, their personalities clashed but with a same goal they yielded for it. At the end of both practices, they decided to stay in contact. 
He softeded because of her, and opened his feeling, his mind. He changed a lot of his behaviour when Drake fell in love with her.

After both graduated and got jobs, they married and decided to create a beautiful family together.  Their jobs required a lot of personal investment, both the couple always managed to get time for each other. 

Drake's life looked acomplished and happy. But destiny decided that this wasn't the life he was going to have. Her 8 month pregnant wife decided to surprise his husband with a fresh meal at the firm because of a case that was absorbing his time and efforts. But after that nothing was clear.
She appeared dead on a dark alley; doctors couldn't save the baby. The police had no directions because the crime scene was devoid of clues or leads. There were no survelliance cameras or witnesses that could say how the victim met her fate. Hypothesis were from a robbery that went terribly wrong or one of the gangs that wanted to send a message to the husband. They asked him if one of his cases afected any of the gangs, but since he still worked with that charitable fundation and that prestigious firm, it could be any of both.
He buried his wife and baby, the case is cold. And he had no obvious desires to keep foward with life.

After that he abandoned the foundation and the firm, and accepted to work on a firm better known for getting deals with big enterprises and clearing some misunderstanding, and now Drake rarely works on cases for justice.
That is his cover-up. He secretly works for both gangs at investigation of each other secrets. He only obeys two rules.
    · The first one to get him on the matter and offer him a good sum of money, is the one who gets him in the case.
    · After that deal, no matter if you offer more money, he will not disclose or quit the job.

Threathen him is not a good idea. Since he knows some of both gangs' business, he can reveal secrets and make things complicated. But since he is a profesional, both gangs know that he will fulfill his job and would never betray anyone after the contract is sealed.
Drake is a double-edged sword that anyone could reckon on but never posses.
